Eh, they said that about sex on the beach, too. But only nimrods took that to mean you can't use a blanket. It's never about the textile sensation of the sand grinding against your nether regions, but about the wonder of the outdoors enhancing one's natural enthusiasms, and the waves crashing ashore timed to your own cresendo.


Ok, I'm willing to admit that a roll in the hay, when not used metaphorically, means a roll in the hay. If hay wasn't really comfortable to roll in, why would hay rides be popular? Either way, hay gone haywire or bugs in the mix, I'm willing to chance it for the imaginary tryst with the studly farmer boy.
