Kink of Swank

Hahaha, that would be hysterical.
Sorry, but I was not about to spend money on clothes I would wear only once a year to Disneyland. So I went to many a goth day as a punk. In fact, this year, I'll be goth in the morning and much more punk at night (in white). There's no right or wrong. And I was NEVER a goth, but always had a blast on goth day. So staying away because you're not a real goth (you'd frelling need a time machine for that, btw) or because you don't have the "correct" thing to wear just seems kinda silly to me. But, ya know, I'm not you and it's none of my damn business. If you don't want to go because it doesn't float your boat, that's one thing. But declining because of clothing or authenticity seems quite a stretch. Hey, I'm not here to convince anyone to do anything they don't want to. But a simple 'no thanks' will suffice. No need to rationalize just not feeling like it. |
