Chendra vs. the Sand Sculpture

For our spring break at the zoo, one of the things we did was to have a master sand sculptor do a piece in Tiger Plaza.

Here's Bert putting finishing touches on the sculpture.


Of course, when the event is over, it's time to demolish the work. We brought in some help...



It didn't take much coaxing to get Chendra into the spirit of things!



Bert said it was the most fun he'd ever had watching one of his pieces destroyed!
