AIM Virus
I got an IM yesterday from a friend with a link - which I stupidly clicked. It brought up a site that said it would compare your AIM stats to your friends.
So this morning I get an IM saying my account is logged on at a different location. This set off my alarm as I have two screen names which are linked, so if my home computer were to somehow have turned itself on and logged in I would have gotten two notices but I only got the one. So I unlinked the two accounts then went in to change the password on the affected account. It tells me all my security question answers are wrong and logs me out. Meanwhile the affected account has sent similiar IM"s to my friends list on that account. I've done searches and I come up with nothing on what this is and how to get rid of it. AOL's webiste bites. Any idea where I can find info on what this may have done to my computer and how to get rid of it?
