It's not an issue, I am not bothered by other people being sad. I am confused by it for pretty much the reasons I gave when GC raised the issue earlier (that's what the punch in the note thing was about).

It is confusing to me because either people are labeling as "sad" something that is, to me, not actually sadness or I do not understand how they manage which deaths will be saddening without being so perpetually in grief over the millions of stranger deaths and thousands of stranger-but-I-actually-was-aware-of-them deaths that one is unable to function.

But everybody is free to feel whatever they feel. And I'm free to be confused by it.
