So, I saw my oncologist two days ago (that was the only time in the past 20 years that I missed DL's Anniversary). It was the one year anniversary of my surgery to remove my invasive melinoma. Everything looks great, no reoccurance, so I past the one year mark cancer-free. What a relief!
 Of course I must continue to be carefull and have regular check ups. It was stage 1B, so I caught it early enough.
