The latest rumors from DL c/o MousePod and me:

Disney is taking "Synergy" to a new levels with the latest changes to several attractions.

The reason that the parrot is gone from the front of PotC is because they're putting him on top of the coffin or replacing the raven on top of the tree as you go backwards into the graveyard.
The raven is going into the Tiki Room
The Ghost of the Vultures from Splash will be placed in Pirates replacing the missing parrot.
Davy Jones from PotC 2 will be put into PotC and Davy Jones from the Monkees will be put into It's a Small World
When someone dies on a ride, their face mysteriously appears in the new HM seance room.....floating through space wearing red long johns

And, it's all true!

Now, that's Synergy!
