Everyone and Everything (almost)

The Scene
There is really nothing better than going to Disneyland with a bunch of Disney geeks (and I mean this only as the highest of compliments). I've only been on LoT for a short while and I was welcomed totally by Lisa and Chris and made to feel right at home (Buster helped too).

Lisa filled me in on many Disnoids (or factoid if you will) as we made our way to the park, on the tram and throughout the park. We were then joined by MBC and Matt for swanking through Fantasyland and when Chris showed up, we managed to ride Peter Pan. The Commodore then joined our merry band and took the bull by the horns and fanagled us a spot at the Blue Bayou for a really swanky lunch. After lunch they made me do my duty and Ride Pooh. I vote that the ride most likely to make me hurl, especially after a Monte Cristo. All that rolling. iSm and CoasterMatt joined us to swank our way across the lands and on the rides. Lindyhop joined us after IASW and then GD and CP ran all the way from the airport and made it just in time for the greatest fireworks display I've ever seen. A stop on the Jungle Cruise and Fantasmic completed day one in the park.

Day two was an iffy prospect until MickeyLumbo came up with a way to get snowflake into the park for CP's Swnaky Pirates Meet. Along with NA and EM, I met Mousepod and his lovely spouse Heather, Heidi and Tom, Capt. Jack, Ponine, BtD, Bluerica, Kevybaby, GusGus, iSm, Issac, Scerbiamaniac (sorry can't spell that!) and Moonliner did a drive by. Who am I missing??????? Can I say right now I love MickeyLumbo, not just cause he got me into the park for a second day, but just cause he is totally sweet. As you all know, we sang and sunk Pirates which was as good as it gets.

The whole point of this exercise is not so much to rank Disney swank, that's a given. The swank I am ranking is that of all my new friends a LoT. Never have I felt more welcome, accepted and even though I was too whipped to join the swanking at the AP Lounge and had a plane to catch, this was the highlight of my trip to LA. No bones about it, my first part of the week was fun, but the LoT part was FUN with capital FUN.

It was great to meet all of you, to swank with you and to sink with you. You all could not have been nicer and I'm looking forward to getting myself an AP and doing this all over again. Who knows, I may become a Disney Geek after all!
