Well, I went to see Sterolab with Chris and wasn't really looking forward to it. I'm not a huge fan of their recorded music but I find that I often like live music a lot more than the recorded versions and. I'm nothing if not adventurous.

Well, they were FANTASTIC live! Many band members playing lots of different instruments and producing an eclectic mix of sounds - a cacophony that was strangely balanced and very melodic. The lead singers' voice was not so much in the forefront, which I appreciated, since it is not one of my favorite voices in contemporary music. The mix was exciting and enthralling and I hope we can find some live recording in the future because their studio albums just don't have the same appeal. So, I'm glad I went, kept an open mind and enjoyed a great band play a fantastic set.
