Thanks guys for the kind responses. The interesting thing in this for me is that I don't think I felt embarassed over the tears for a single moment. I've seen Ray's eyes fill up when talking about something he feels particularly passionate about. I know it's good to cry, and I probably needed a good cry-out, even if I was trying to stifle it. I did want to tell him more, after all!

He'll probably pass me on the way into class as I sit outside, and ask me how I am. I'll just tell him I cried because I'm stuck with business classes after this.

Incidentally, he teaches a few literature classes each semester... I may have another interdisciplinary course opportunity in a couple of semesters, so I will try to take one of his classes. Mythology, baby!
