Yep. In my history of house rabbits, they've all done stuff like that. Our current little girl will keep her cage nice and tidy for a couple weeks, and then suddenly chuck the litter box, knock over the pellet food hopper, and even chew on the bars for a few days at a time, and then be nice and calm for a couple weeks again.

I think they get bored on occasion and like to "rearrange the furniture" in their immediate "home of their own".

I usually remedy these "periods" by getting a new toy. They love things that rattle and make a bit of noise - baby keys, some bird toys, etc.
