So, trying to use dial up for my work computer and having no luck, I switched to the secondary dial-up number, forgetting that it's configured to dial "9" first to get an outside line, and not noticing that there was an extra "1" before it started to dial the 1-800 number. In this way, I managed to call 911, and have police show up at my door to investigate.

I hate dial-up
