Next Pirates Premier at DL - May 19th

The next Red Carpet Pirates Premier will be at Disneyland, May 19. Disneyland will open at 6:30 am and close at 5:00pm.

I didn't mind last year's as much as I'd thought (not the actual day, mind you ... I avoid that mobscene like bubonic scurvy, but the whole bleachers thing and cattle path everywhere thing). I guess it was semi-interesting .... ONCE.

And in large part it was because I was also cutting the sequel some pre-release slack, I put up with the hassle that took over the Park for a few days.

But no more. The second movie sucked ... and we all know how pleased I was that Pirates of the Caribbean (The Ride TM) was overhauled to match the film franchise it inspired.

I'm disappointed they didn't opt for Long Beach and the cruise line tie-in. I don't find the Pirates premieres welcome at Disneyland anymore.
