See, what you need to do is plan your home improvements around vacations. When we had the exterior painted, new carpeting and a new roof put on, we also went on an Alaskan cruise. Our next big project is new covered rain gutters, all the zillion trees in our yard pruned, and a Hawaiian cruise.
