So I finally gave into peer pressure and went to the Urgent Care. It's not broken, he didn't even need to x-ray it.

But it's even uglier today than it was Saturday! The swelling is going down and the color is rising.

I refuse to shop at Albertsons for the same reasons given for Ralph's.
When I was pregnant, just walking in the doors was enough to make me gag. All I could smell was spoiled fish and stale dog food.
When Nick was a baby I had a "courtesy clerk" actually take the cart (with Nick in it) and push it towards the lane next to me, out of my reach and line of sight. I was pissed. It took 3 years before I ever went back
Any time I did stop in one, due to location, they employees were too busy talking to each other about each other that I was totally ignored.
Recently (right before Superbowl) I went to a brand new store and ended up with an incompetent checker. When I got home I found out that I paid for and received someone elses rotting fruit.

It just ticks me off because Albertsons is the only store that carries Diet A&W Cream Soda.



Boy came home yesterday with 2 chicks. Not girls, but actual chicks. I am not a happy camper. I did move them in from the garage. I promised Nick that I would not intentionally cause the birds harm. Our gas dryer has a leaky hose. It is not enough to be an issue in an empty garage, but I don't want to take a chance with his new "pets."

Crap. It is official. I am turning into a softy. I realized that the Kitchen gets chilly at night. I just shut the slider (I like to leave it open at night) and covered the box containing the chicks. I am now listening to crazy rats destroying their cage and the chirping of tiny birds.
