Vegimite- an acquired taste! [and Lashes in SD]

Actually, the taste with avacado wasn't too bad. It truley was the flavor and odor of the Vegimite it's self that was the turn-off for me. But I'm sure there would have been a better complement to the flavor than avacado.

Perhaps it was my dad's beer and wine making days making days, or the fact that I use yeast in bread making and am familiar with it as an ingredient that shouldn't be consumed by itself. Whatever the cause, I still ate the whole plate of toast to give it a fair try. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't eat it, but bad enough that I said to myself "Well, there's something I never have to do again". And I did feel sick afterwards.

Perhaps I should have gotten some ideas from you first, huh? My mistake. And again I do appreciate that you gave me the chance to experience something I've been curious about all these years!

So, take heed from Lashbear every one! Spread it [very] thinly on ThinCrisps!
