My friend just e-mailed this story ...

Our head writer just found out that a comic/musician I
know - Henry Phillips - has a father who loaned $5000 to Bob Clark 3
weeks ago (Henry's dad was an actor in Porky's). And Clark apparently
told Henry's dad that if he wanted a signature to pay him back, he would
give him one. Henry's dad said it was cool. "What if I get hit by a
bus?" Clark told him.

Well, it wasn't a bus, but it was close.
