But I'd like it to be swank. I'm willing to purchase something useful ... and to my mind, nothing has ever proved so useful on my camping trips than a pump-action sink, and lots of kitchen counter space, handy hanging and towel racks and such.

Add in a couple, three camp stoves, and a capuccino maker ... and you've got one heckuva kamp kitchen.

So ... are we having a group kitchen or are we having fiefdoms?
FWIW, I'm sure there will be a significant amount of impromptu sharing of equipment, as things are always forgotten or unanticipated. That's when the power of pitching in (and having extra equipment) will show its colors the strongest. So we'll have fiefdoms that behave communally... the best of both

As far as the coffee thing... bloody brilliant. If there are enough folks interested, I may consider making a purchase of a certain type of stove-top espresso maker. That plus a saucepan full of milk and we'd be good for lattes and cappuccinos (and I just *happen* to have a Peet's coffee near me!), which would go quite well I think with pancakes and fruit, yes?

So, here's the question: who would drink espresso-based beverages?
