Ooo TOTALLY good idea!!!!!!! Military inspired without wearing something that took blood sweat and tears to earn. A very wise person (poster) told me that it's just an article of clothing, the rest makes it a uniform but I can't get behind that statement. And it bothers me to no end that people are wearing present day military uniforms as fashion. Active duty military can't wear their uniforms as fashion.

BoingoOut, I am very sorry you wern't able to join the USMC. It isn't an easy branch to get into when you are healthy. But I have to say, to want to join a branch of the military because of their uniforms... well I'll just hope you had other reasons. I'm not telling you not to wear a tunic (homemade or antique is the way to go) but I think it's incredibally disrespectful to those who were able to become Marines to wear part of their dress blue uniform as a fashion statement.
