NA, € and I did quite a bit of preliminary activity research when making the camping reservations. Though by no means exhaustive, we did a fairly good job of finding reasonably unstrenuous, interesting and nearby hikes, plus a couple of cars-required excursions to fascinating sites beyond walking distance.

I'd hate to re-create the wheel and start all over again (especially when the desired information is likely somewhere in this very thread).
