That may be a game-time decision. I think the initial plan should be meet somewhere (DTD monorail station?) at 7, head to the subs once we have a quorum, stragglers can join us in line. There seem to be a few people who will be in the park well before that time. If they see anything that would give reason to change that plan, we can alter as necessary.

Sounds great! Sorry- I missed your comment when I posted about not arriving until about 7. My bad.

Last minute changes are fine, but I leave town Friday night and will have limited (cell phone browser) access after that. I can PM my cell number to anyone who might be able to keep me posted (katiesue has it already though).

I still don't understand how the monorail will be any faster than waiting by the Kodak store on Main Street at rope drop, waltzing thru Tomorrowland and up to the Subs. The monorail takes at least 10 minutes before you're in, and the in-park walk takes about 2. By that time the line will be 5 hours long!

On Sunday the 24th the park opens at 8:00am so there will be no rope drop.

The first monorail leaves DTD 5 to 10 min before the gates open. It then waits at the Tomorrowland station until the gates open. Giving it's riders direct access to nemo while the mobs rush all the way down main street.

That's how it works if all goes to plan.

If the monorail gets delayed for technical or other reasons then you can sit and sit while the unwashed mobs descend on Nemo. Also on busy days it is possible that the monorail will be reserved for hotel guests only with no prior warning.

On the other hand, if you go for the gate, at worst you have one monorail load in front of you with just a few hundred guests tops.

The LoT cell phone network usually does the trick. As the day approaches I'll be sure to collect as many cell numbers from those that appear to be joining us as I can.
