We set op our new tent in the living room today. It's big! It took up all of the center of the LR floor with the furniture pushed back. We still have to test our stove and fuel lantern before going. I'm making preparations, even though I'm still unsure about what condition Dexter will be in in 2 weeks time.

However, Dexter really LOVED the tent. He climbed right in it an made himself at home. maybe he wants to go with us?

I saw at Target they are selling a nice tent.

I am getting excited as well. While I am not going camping, I am getting the heck outta Dodge.

I will be thinking of you all and wondering what you are up to.

And I'll be thinking about Dexter, too.

I'm sad to report that I'm going to have to remove myself from this swanky camping expedition. Some unfortunate financial constraints are upon me and I cannot put off taking care of them anymore. I'll be very sad not to spend a few days in the wild with y'all. I think, instead, I'm going to take those days off anyway and stick close to home, relaxing and getting to know my semi-new neighborhood better. I hope you all have a swell time and I'll look forward to your post-camping posts.
