I don't know exactly what crazy device my dad set off one year, but it burned a hole in the street and set off a LOT of car alarms.

I loved throwing them down storm drains - it intensified the boom.

We also threw the water proof ones (AKA Seal Controls) into pools until we got in BIG trouble when they needed to be completely re-plastered

Last summer at my friend Brad's house (not anyone you guys know), we blew up a massive amount of illegal fireworks, including seal control. Did two in the pool and did three others out in the street.

yeah, those are pretty serious. my friends and I buried one in a vacant gravel lot once. set it off. the rocks felt like shotgun pellets hitting us

it was sooo cool

hehehe I understand that there were fireworks at David's house yesterday. His folks told him that he could go to his sister's but he had to leave Dawn and her kids home. They could hear her throwing a major tantrum through the phone when she found out I was invited, but she was not.
