I'd call my observations of this thread opening since Alex mentioned it inconsistent. Sometimes it loads slowly, sometimes it loads quickly. It's never been slow enough to pose a particular nuisance to me.
Of course, if the OP requests that it be closed, we'll gladly oblige. Similarly, nothing's stopping anyone else from starting a thread, whether this one's closed or not.

That's how I was voting last time it was brought up (pardon the pun), but since NA mentioned it, I've finally noticed a correlation between load times for THIS thread, and its size, versus how long (or not) it takes to load the other, shorter threads.
Part of me LOVES that we have a thread with this many posts in it. But most of me is incredibly impatient and will not stand for dialup-length load times. Sorry to start a firestorm here.. just I've changed sides on the discussion.

It's supposed to be in the 90s here for the rest of the week. I don't mind the hot - and I'm trying desperately to move somewhere hotter - but up here we don't have air conditioning. Even at work there's no air conditioning. Blah.
