Didier Ghez's blog has an interesting link to an article showing now and then Disney sites in Los Angeles in the 1920s and the early 1930s.

Wow that is REALLY cool, I am gonna have to check out those areas when I am by there -- I've been to that Gelsons on Hyperion many a time and never knew it was on the site of the former Walt Disney Studios!!

There's a sign on a phone pole in the parking lot, and a large b/w photo inside the store at the customer service desk. Go across the street, to Trader Joe's, and see more historic photos of the Hyperion Lot.
