WWE: Wrestler Brian 'Crush' Adams Found Dead

The Web site WWE.com announced Monday that wrestler Brian Adams — known as "Crush" — was found dead, less than two months after the murder-suicide of professional wrestler Chris Benoit and his family.

Tampa police told FOX News that Adams' wife found him unconscious in bed and called 911. He was pronounced dead in the home when medics could not revive him.

There have been a lot of them dying lately, but I also think the media attention is all because of the Benoit thing. If not for that case (a refresher course of which has been provided in every Brian Adams article I've read), no one would know or care that "Crush" had died. Even more annoying is the way most of the articles I've seen make it seem as though he was a currently active wrestler and that this is one more thing to blame on the wrestling industry. While the rigors of that lifestyle may play a role (unknown at this time), the guy hasn't been under contract with the WWE since 2003.
