I was in the Grand Tetons with my parents and my dog (a Westie ). We were walking along the shores of Sting Lake, which is long and narrow (hence the name). I came around a bend to find a bug bull moose standing in the river chomping on river grass. My first thought was of the Dinosaur in the Primeval World diorama at Disneyland. My next thought was "my he's huge". He sauntered away, thank God!

Hey, that's where I saw my one and only Moose! We were on a family vacation there in a cabin, my mom woke up and looked at the big picture window to see a huge moose staring in at us as if to say:

[Bullwinkle Voice]"Oh, looky. A human cage full of humans...how interesting!" [/Bullwinkle]

My mom screamed at the top of her lungs, the moose screamed in response (more of a beller, actually) and the rest of us jumped up just in time to see a moose butt high tailing it out of there!
