Y'ever have one of those interviews where it's pretty clear that a committee selected the interview candidates and that your interviewer was not in concurrence with the committee? I love having 20 minutes of wondering why the heck they're taking up my time if they're not interested. And by "love" I mean "hate."

I have finally reassured myself that Chicken is indeed a hen, not a rooster. I just looked it up and she is an Australorp. I was worried because she has a bright red comb and red jowl-thingys under her chin. The only thing keeping me thinking she was a hen was that she never crows, she does make a noise that sounds like she is trying to bark. If she ever does lay eggs they will be brown, not the white we had been looking for.

Weird bird.

Another one on that same fault line, 9 mi off Lake Elsinore, 3.7 in size. That's been a rather busy fault line lately. This could most likely be another after-shock.
