ummm, I'm lost- I cross posted at MC to get ideas from them- but there is no info there. I'm sorry- what am I missing?

We did get the information from my mother's cousin- my parents are attending and I have chosen to join them.

This is not easy- as I have been angry at them for a long time. I have a choice to stay angry and not put this behind me- or I can choose to get some closure and forgive them and move on- so I am in the midst of finding airfare etc.....

I'll be staying with T & K- there is only one small thing left to organize and that is a ride somewhere closer to the funeral. The funeral is about 4 miles from the address Alex posted- I would be more than happy to kick in gas money if someone could help me get closer- maybe to meet my parents who are going to have a rental car. They are leaving right after the service- but I am going back to T&K's place- so maybe a ride part way back?

Or something?

I could also hop a shuttle to the Park from LAX since Mom and Dad are flying from there-

I'm so scattered!

So- the rest of the story- earlier this year my grandfather needed gall bladder surgery and my grandmother was there with him. Shortly after he came out of the hospital- she had a stroke- he stayed with her (which he always did) and when she had a second stroke it put her into a coma- she never woke up again and died Thursday 9/27.

I know my grandfather and my uncle (who also abandoned us for the sake of inheiretance) know we know- they may or may not expect us to come. We are not going to reconcile- we are going to pay our respects. Mom, Dad, my brother and I -

*sigh* I've been going through alot of ups and downs. I am remembering good things- I used to be close to them- and when I get onto that flood of memories I am very sad......
