Halloween 2007

Maddy hasn't decided yet. There's her first school dance on the 26th. I'm not sure if it's costume or not.

We'll have her annual pumpkn carving party on the 28th. It's a little early but it's too hard to schedule on a weeknight. I put down cheap plastic table cloths all over my kitchen floor. Put the pumpkins on it and let them have at it. Then when they're all done I just wrap up all the mess in the table cloths and make a trip to the dumpster. Totally easy. I usually only schedule it for a couple of hours - longer and the natives get restless and make me bonkers. The kids love it and they come up with some pretty creative pumpkins.

I don't get many trick or treaters. The ones that show up later usually totally score because I'll throw in half a bag of candy just to get it out of the house.
