well, Im not sure how much longer I can resist that welder. my hot rod projects are starting to require it. drills I got. cut offs and impact drivers I got. blah blah....

but I need that damn welder. might have to talk Santa Jack into just breaking down and getting it.

oh hell....get one. you'll never use another corded drill. best purchase I can think of for a DYI'er is a cordless drill. worth every penny (as yeah...I know theyre not what one could call cheap)

Funny thing: I've never owned a drill. Not my own (of course as a kid my dad had all the tools, etc., but I have not owned my own drill)

oh I couldnt stand that. Ive used my cordless for everything from driving screws to twisting wire to stirring paint. yeah...its a definite gotsta have

I actually use my cordless drill quite a bit. I lost all the rest of my power tools along with my comfy furniture - ah well.

I don't have any power tools, except an electric screwdriver. That's a wonderful $20 I spent, god bless Black & Decker! Of course, I have a very cool toolkit, 130 pieces all neatly stored in a case. Should I need to fix something, I pretty much can!

Yeah, but there's a difference between fixing and building. I'm a builder, not so much a fixer.

Reminds me... I have some curtains I want to hang in my living room. I know it needs to be screwed into the wall, but my question is, does it require wall anchors? I mean, do I need a drill for this?
