I'm sorry that Abe has passed, but I am so glad he spent his last days with you! I know it's hard, but he was in a good place in your family, even if it was so briefly. Just because an animal is old doesn't mean they stop feeling or stop being worthwhile. He was a happy little man with you, and you made his end of life as enjoyable as any dog could wish for. You two are beyond awesome.
