My Spanish is strictly high school - but doesn't "como en la calle" mean "like in the street"? Oh where would such a delicacy be available from a street vendor? I must vacation there.

On french fries.......might be just incredible! Although, the ingredient list is a little daunting, almost sounds much more dangerous than consuming mass quantities of the real thing.

Having just recently come back from the state of Jalisco, I never saw anything like this, but at every mercado, I was able to buy pretty decent baguettes, fresh baked every single day! The butter was very good, too!

Every part of the pig, too, inclduing braided intestines, but not a bit of bacon to be seen.

We used to get them in Santa Rosalia, BCS. On the steps of the metal church.

• Monosodium Glutimate,
• Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein,
• Autolysed Yeast Extract.

These are all in the one product, and all being MSG, my heart would be literally be jumping out of it's chest for HOURS afterward. So it's "No Go" for me.
