I was searching for a chicken soup crock pot recipe, actually, but I came across this, which, when you replace the freshly cooked beans with the canned variety, would be SUPER easy:
Bean Soup with Ham This bean soup recipe contains Great Northern beans, tomato sauce, potatoes, carrots, onions, and diced ham. INGREDIENTS: 8 ounces Great Northern beans, soaked overnight, drained 4 cups water 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce Seasoned salt and pepper to taste 2 med. potatoes, diced 2 carrots, shredded 2 small onions, chopped 1/2 to 1 cup diced ham PREPARATION: In a kettle, cover beans with fresh water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, then simmer for 30 minutes. Drain beans. Combine beans and remaining ingredients in Crock Pot. Stir. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
