I don't know why no one's mentioned this yet, but by far the best thing Disney is doing for the holidays (or at least they did it this past Sunday) is, during the post-Believe snowfall, having teeny tiny Minnie and Mickey Mouse wander through the jampacked crowd on Main Street without handlers, hugging hundreds of people.

It was simply the most amazing and heart-tugging thing I've experienced at Disneyland in ages.

Yes, this was truly magical. Very sweet. And it got me all teary-eyed. It was a cool surprise for newbies and old weathered APers like us.
I mean, you hardly ever see characters out at night. Simply wonderful.
I got a back pat from Minnie and a big 'ol hug from Mickey the Mouse. Very cool.
