OOohhh, Vegas is fun! Buffets I'd recommend (every casino has one) are at the Rio, the Fiesta, and the Sunday brunch at the Brown Derby inside MGM (if they still have it; not cheap, but worth it). Memphis Barbecue is an awesome restaurant at the Rio end of town (I think- look it up). Gamble in the old downtown or at Sams Town. See the Fremont Street Experience. The Star Trek Experience is fun, too, at the Hilton. Fremont has the advanatage of being free. Watch the Mirage's volcano explode. Go see Paris Las Vegas. They have singing boatsmen.

Don't bother checking out the pirate show at Treasure Island (TI as they call it now).

I think several casinos run seafood buffets on Friday nights; I haven't checked into it lately. Super cheap breakfast is at the Fiesta Baja Beach Cafe or at ... what is that one... it's the one in downtown Henderson. There's a little casino and they have megacheap breakfast. Can't remember its name though.

Enjoy your trip!

Bellagio Buffet is THE buffet you have to do! Not cheap, but worth every penny and then some!

Definitely do the well i was there on the weekend so champagne brunch at the Mirage. Awesome food and what not more expensive than regular brunch but it was so worth it to sit and eat and have champagne and had my first taste at gelato ice cream.

Entertainment not sure...there are casinos, shops, rides (top of Stratosphere), Speed the Ride, Manhattan Express, Circus Circus that kind of thing.
Ride the monorail....

Oh not to miss the Efiel tower do it at night scary...

And Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. so worth it and take your time and stay in the room with the touch reef. Awesome. I couldn't get enough of touching the baby sharks. Even took the behind the scenes tour.

I'm going back in April for Bon Jovi and plan to do Stratosphere at night and then just shop and drink and eat the whole weekend lmao...

Oh, yeah, the sharks are cool. Also at Tropicana is the Body exhibit- real bodies, partially dissected and preserved. Kind of creepy, but also really cool to see the structure of the body.

I think they took out the rides at the top of Stratosphere; a car fell off the roller coaster during a test. The roller coaster at New York New York is still going though. It's a little expensive, and kind of rough, but I liked it anyway.

You can go up in the Eiffel Tower???? I'll have to do that next time.

The Wranglers hockey team plays at the Orleans. Maybe you can catch a game.

As alphabassettgirl said, if you like Star Trek at all, you must visit the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton. It had me giggling like crazy.

No the rollercoaster ontop of Stratosphere was the only ride taken off. The others Big Shot, Xscream, and Insanity are all there. I rode them all last March again and Xscream for my very first ride at nightime in the front seat scary and i'm not one to be scared love rides. I was so scared, shaking etc that when i got off the ride i almost kissed the ground. (we hadn't even watched it go when we rode). But Insanity is my fav hands down. Something about hanging over the edge of the tower way up in the air spinning around 40mph and then tilting to look straight down ya that is my type of ride

Yes, the High Roller rollercoaster has been removed from Stratosphere, but show me some proof to back up that last statement.

There are still three rides operating atop Stratosphere- Big Shot (A S&S Power Mark I Space Shot ride), XScream- an Interactive Rides production that resembles a giant teeter-totter with a skateboard on top, and Insanity- also from Interactive Rides.
