What is hammering (with respect to the GH controller?).

Heh well I came |thisclose| again to buying Rock Band, but that's because I went to best buy with the intention of getting a Nintendo DS and use the $110 store credit I have... and they are all out. I really really don't want to do the same thing to find the DS that I had to do to get the Wii (no, oddly enough it didn't involve me on my knees, mmkay?) but still, it was a lot of work for a freakin video game system. So Rock Band, being plentiful, may be the easy thing to spend on

Of course, I *could* get a PSP, which would be great at the gym (since I could watch downloaded movies) but... the DS is better, right?
