Yeah, on the animation side the best done in my opinion was rising up to the level of merely not awful. Peter and the Wolf had some moments. I loved the animation for My Love, but not for 30 minutes.
Things were better on the live action side in that I didn't hate any of them. But none of them were home runs either. The Tonto Woman was the best film but was long enough that it felt like an hour-long TV drama and started to drift out of what I think of as a "short." Il Supplente was the only one I'd heard of going into things (and I'd heard good things) but I thought it was the weakest of the lot. |
