Even though it means I'll be eating nothing but pasta for the next few days, I just bought three of her albums. She (or her manager/PR folks) contacted me via a highly personalized message on MySpace, which was a very savvy thing to do, as it's the first musician/band to contact me that didn't automatically trigger my 'delete' finger. Anyway, I gave her music a listen and I really, really dig. Let the "word-of-mouth" fly.
