Name change-freaking out

Signing with your maiden name was the correct thing to do.

But when I go to change my name here the DMV wants something showing the name "change"- does the marriage cert do that?

Then the SSN office wants proof of old and new name- which means I have to do the license first.

I am trying to get some confirmation from the CO DMV and hitting hold times and idiots.
