alphabassettgrrl~ went clothes shopping yesterday as well, trying to find capris, not shorts not long jeans. Well, I don't think my body was made for them.

I put ice in the cat and dogs dishes this a.m.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for the boy!! Umm...I gave in {quickly} and allowed him to stay home from school, so, neither cookies or cupcakes {but now I want a chocolate chip cookie!!}. Dad called to wish him a happy birthday and asked him if he wanted to stay home. Testing is finished for him so he is here. I am going to try and get him out of the house for a spell.

But, that goes back to the shared pain we have, I rarely seem to get out of here unless there is something really important going on. And, I find it easy to stay home and take care of things here as opposed to heading out and making my own fun.

Wah. Must get a life!!!

How funny that people catch their own mistakes (that they've used time and time again) in a document they figured I wrote - when I only copied/pasted it. Har har...

Surely enough, they were mistakes that I could have caught, but I was led to believe that using these documents on this relatively unimportant document would be enough, so I didn't check because... well, it's been good enough for 9 different uses, right?



But yeah, part of me still says I should have caught it.

Well, yesterday I worked outside all day in my Magic Heat-Magnifying Tent selling ThinKrisps. Today, I'm collecting orders, and will soon be on my way to the kitchen, where I will bake hot, melty, crispy, cheesy ThinKrisps.

My sincere sympathies. Do you have a fan you can put right on you? When I am in the kitchen {and this is a rare occassion} and it is hot, I must have a fan. Either one in the window or a stand up fan.

I have decided that I am buying something for the house with my rebate thingy. My recliner is in serious need of retirement. Instead of buying a new, single person, recliner, I am getting a dual relcining loveseat.

So I'm at Target yesterday and there's this teenaged kid in front of me with the boxers/jeans below your butt thing happening. And I'm walking behind him and just trying to figure out how he keeps the pants up? He was doing a bit of a knock-kneed walk. Presumeably because this is the only way to walk with your pants wasteline around your upper thighs. But seriously how do you keep the actual pants from totally falling off?
