The Mae Shi - this Thursday night 5/1

I'm SO happy that I went - Other than one song, I really had no idea what I was in for. The energy level was awesome, from the band and the small but enthusiastic crowd. It was neat to talk with the band members, and a film crew making a documentary about indie music. Most importantly, I left the show with an awesome noise making device, that can and will be modified soon to be even more awesome, thanks to it's designer and builder- the guitarist for the band!

I was playing with different settings on my camera, trying to learn certain things, and lighting was odd at best- but I got some pics that I cobbled together to represent the great feelings that I got from the Mae Shi
