Tax Rebate Incentive Checks

I got money from the IRS yesterday but it wasn't this. It included a piece of paper saying an explanation for why I was getting money would be along in a couple of days.

Those letters of information of things that have already passed just reinforce to me that the government doesn't really know what they are doing. Which on one hand makes me feel a little better about how much I screw up. I mean, even the government does, right?

Anywho. I checked on that site {thank you!} and finally it says that the check is scheduled to be sent out something like May 22 {even though our numbers are from the first batch} and if it doesn't get here by June 20, be sure and contact them. ????

As far as the emails, I tell my family I don't open those type of things because you never know about viruses. I have some people who send me things all of the time but they are attachments and I just delete them. My father in law always sends things.

My mother doesn't even use a microwave.

Yep - we had the same thing. Got the letter after the deposit was made.
