I don't know if it has been discussed in the Movies thread, but there is a documentary (American Teen) being released that is being paralleled to Breakfast Club.

When Nanette Burstein (Writer/Director) was shooting the documentary over the course of a year about five teens in Indiana, she did not realize it, but when editing began, she realized the amazing parallels. At least that is how it is being presented.
