Is it safe for me to just go buy color at a store and do it myself? Now that the red base is in?

For solid colors, I always go store-bought, and do it about every 6 weeks, especially with reds.

Also, to help the red last longer, try using a henna shampoo. You can find those at some natural products stores.

picked up the dark auburn at Sally's- the color # is 666

Did it myself- and my hair is back to dark red- yippee!
