Twilight (book series)

Okay - I bought the first book based on the TV show True Blood. The book is Dead until Dark by Charlaine Harris.

While I didn't like it quite as much as the Twilight series, I enjoyed it enough that I've been to 1 book store and called 4 more in search of the 2nd in the series. (which I finally found and will be driving 1/2 hour to go get on my lunch.)

I think I would have really really liked the series a lot more if I'd read it before Twilight. I find that I now compare all other vampire things to Twilight now. So while it's not as good,

I should point out that this book is not in the teen section as it does have some somewhat graphic, yet fairly brief sex scenes. (woo-hoo!) And fangs. If you're into that. heh heh.
