God forbid that something other than a loud chain restaurant be suggested for a place for friends to get together and catch up.

Maybe I don't keep up on the minutia of planning that went on with this thread. For me, it was "oh look, I have a couple of hours in my life and there's this cool place to explore nearby - maybe I'll suggest that".

But, that was obviously way out of line.
