I poured most of a tall glass of ice water on my Mac.
(ripped the MagSafe connector out and pulled the battery within seconds, got as much water out as I could then went over it with a hair dryer on "cool" for an hour or so and then let it air-dry overnight -- it's fine now. sigh.)
