So, stock market's in the crapper, and my company's stock has followed right along. However, while our stock price sucks right now, as a company we're in really good shape. Growth has slowed, but we're still raking in profit and have large cash reserves. And from what little they let a peon like me know about our near-term business strategy I feel like we're in a good position to capitalize on some changes in our market. If so, our stock price stands a good chance of increasing significantly from this artificially low point over the next couple of years.
So, as I wait until early next week before some funds clear so I can purchase some stock, is wrong of me to be grinning every time I see the price drop right now?

Okay - I just saw an ad for Bank of America - and it was narrated by what sounded like Keifer Sutherland. The ad was all about: you can trust us to protect your money.
I wonder if that's supposed to have some sort of subliminal message that Jack from 24 will make sure you're safe. Hmmm.

Man, LaWanda Page was freakin' brilliant. I was watching some of her Aunt Esther clips from Sanford and Son on YouTube. She was a wonderful comedienne.
