They layed off a key employee today. It was somewhat unexpected and brought many of us to tears. Young single mom. Frankly - I'm worried about her. It sucks to have this happen. She had a hard life growing up. Has never held another job since she came here straight from high school and went from answering phones to handling everything and then some in her own department. I'm so sad to see her go.
And yet at the same time - I'm so thankful to still be employed. But for how long? Come on economy! WTF!
